Some of my (clumsy) art pieces:
"She Could Have Chosen Freedom"
"Twins"
"The Thinker"
I was born in Romania in the beautiful city of Iasi, the city of writers. I graduated from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University with a degree in English and Romanian, then went to the United States for an MA in English (at Salisbury University) and a PhD (at Binghamton Universtity). Now I live in McAllen, TX, where I teach at South Texas College. Aside from writing, I am also passionate about acting, and sometimes I perform with the Theater Department of South Texas College. I also draw (with ambitions of painting), and run 5ks, and I love adrenaline-inducing sports like horseback riding and flying on sky coasters.
